Yes, anyway, I was talking to The WhiteShark one art class and I was trying to help her think of something to draw. Eventually, it got around to doing something with some 'mistress or master or time' and I got inspo.
It took me a moment or two to figure out how I wanted to do the background and I experimented with a lot of colors before I finally settled upon the black. Then I started messing with the paint brush and the awesomeness came through.
My brother still thinks I should have done something with the flamey things coming off his staff (which I don't know what that is) but nothing I did to it seemed right so I left it alone.
